Peyton is primarily a rural area and does not offer as many developed neighborhoods as the surrounding areas, with the exception of Antlers Ridge. Antlers Ridge Estates is the last frontier for homeowners who want more home, more land, and more freedom to enjoy their Colorado Lifestyle. Each lot in Antlers Ridge Estates is large enough (2.5 acres) to accommodate a sweeping range of floorplans and architectural styles; they can be scaled and designed to meet your every whim and fancy.
Peyton, Co is served by school district Peyton 23-JT. In Colorado your child has the option to attend any school in the district (called intradistrict choice) or outside the district (called interdistrict choice), as long as there is space. Students who attend unsatisfactory schools are given preference. Low-income students in grades 1-8 who attend low-performing schools are eligible for transportation tokens to attend a different school. Students can also attend charter schools.

From hiking up Mount Herman to horseback ridining, playing golf and jogging and biking along the New Santa Fe Trail, there are a bevy of outdoor activities available in the Tri-Lakes area.
Green spaces in the area include Limbach Park, For Run Regional Park and the memorably-named Dirty Woman Creek Park, Monument's largest park named after a pioneer woman who lived in an unkempt shack along the creek.
The 14-mile New Santa Fe Trail begins in Palmer Lake and spans south through Monument and through the Air Force Academy Grounds before connecting to the Pikes Peak Greenway on its way into Colorado Springs proper.

Here, seasoned rock climbers and novices alike can experience indoor and outdoor climbing activities, instruction and training by purchasing a day pass (about $15 per person) or monthly membership.
Nearby, the Colorado Sports and Events Center calls itself “Southern Colorado's premier facility for sports and entertainment.” The complex plays home to various recreational leagues and activities and features both an NHL-sized ice rink and a large turf field.
